FAQs

1. Can we use the splitter work with HDMI video capture card? No. our splitters will not work with HDMI capture cards due to the HDCP encryption on the output.
2. Can the splitter show 2 different images on the different displays?  No. Our HDMI splitter will duplicate or mirror a single HDMI source on 2 HDMI displays. Both displays will show the same video and audio simultaneously
3. How to connect multiple monitors that support different resolutions?  Set to EDID TV mode and connect the monitor that supports the lowest resolution to HDMI OUT1.
4. Does this HDMI splitter support extend mode?  No. Our splitter does not support extend mode. It only supports mirror or duplicate screen function, each screen will show the same image.
5. What is the maximum input and output resolution supported by this product?it Supports video resolution up to 4K@60Hz or 1080P@120Hz with 8 bit RGB/YCBCR 4:4:4.
6. What is the maximum length of HDMI input and output cables?  You can use standard HDMI 2.0 cables up to 5m for 4K@60Hz RGB/YUV 4:4:4. If its not a high quality cable then you may lose the signal in some instances.
7. Does it support HDMI CEC function? No.
8. Does it support Dolby atmos and Dolby vision? yes
9. Does it support 4k@60Hz at 10bit color and HDCP 2.2? yes
10. What is the function of the STD EDID mode?  It will output fixed 1080p@60Hz resolution and LPCM 2CH stereo to all output devices.
11. What is the function of the TV EDID mode?  In TV EDID mode, the device will copy the EDID setting of the HDMI OUT 1 display to the source device, and the source device will send a signal matching the OUT 1 display device to all output devices; If HDMI OUT 1 is not connected to a display device, the source device will output fixed 1080p@60Hz resolution and LPCM 2CH stereo to all output devices.
12. When the HDMI splitter is working, the shell temperature is high, will it affect the quality and life of the splitter? The distributor adopts a metal shell and a special heat dissipation design, which can effectively dissipate heat, so the temperature of the shell may be slightly higher. As long as the user's operating environment temperature is within 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, it will not affect its quality and service life.
