This 8K HDMI ARC/eARC Audio Adapter is designed for extracting ing audio signals from
an HDMI source or TV with ARC/eARC, and outputting HDMI audio, digital S/PDIF audio or analog audio to AV Receiver. It supports data rates up to 48Gbps complying with HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 requirements. It includes several features for ease of integration, such as EDID management and cable equalization.
It provides an easy solution for HDMI installations to send audio signals to a soundbar, amplifier or any 5.1/2.0CH sound system. CEC control from TV to the source, amplifier or soundbar is also supported. this adapter is a perfect solution for connecting SONOS ARC/BOSE 500/700/900 Soundbars and other eARC/ARC AV receivers.

  1. What is the function of this product? This product can convert HDMI audio signal to ARC/eARC audio signal, or convert ARC/eARC audio signal to HDMI audio signal. That is to say, it can convert the transmission path of HDMI audio and ARC audio signal, and the audio signal itself will not change.
  2. How does it work? ARC/eARC function off: HDMI audio input --> ARC/eARC audio output to Soundbar + HDMI audio output, no need to connect TV at this time.

  4. Which devices can be connected to the SOUNDBAR port? SONOS ARC/ SONOS Beam/BOSE 500/700/900 or other AVRs that support eARC/ARC
  5. What devices can be connected to the OUT2 port? OUT2 is HDMI audio signal output port, no video signal output. It can connect AVRs that support HDMI audio input. When it is connected to TV, only audio is output and the screen is black.
  6. Does it support turn on by the TV CEC function ? not support. Because it does not support standby, it will turn on directly when connected to the power supply. However, it supports the CEC pass-through function, that is, when it is connected to a TV and a Soundbar that support CEC function, use the remote control to turn on the TV, and the Soundbar will also turn on.
  7. the Audio is intermittent? It may be that the HDMI cable is damaged or not connected properly, you can try to replace the HDMI cable, or turn off the ARC/eARC function.
