the BUNGPUNG 4K HDMI eARC Audio Extractor Adapter HDMI Switch 4 in 1 out is high quality and reliable solutions for connecting 4 HDMI source devices to a single HDMI display and switching between them. It supports video resolution up to 4K@60Hz, compatible with HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 HDR. It supports ARC/eARC function (only for the “INPUT 1(eARC)” port). It also supports advanced EDID management (AUTO/2.0CH/5.1CH/7.1CH selectable).
ARC/eARC function off: At this time, the product is used as a 4-input 4K HDMI switcher, and the EDID AUTO mode is the TV EDID mode, at this time, the switch outputs audio and video content according to the TV EDID. At this time, EDID 2.0CH, 5.1CH, 7.1CH mode can be used to output the corresponding fixed audio format.
When the ARC/eARC function is turned on, select the input port 1 as the HDMI input source, then connect the “INPUT 1(eARC)” port to a Soundbar (eARC compatible), and connect the “OUTPUT(eARC)” port to a TV (eARC compatible), the eARC audio signal will be transmitted from TV to Soundbar. (For example, when user watches TV APP, the Switcher will pass-through TV eARC/ARC audio to the Soundbar.)
When the ARC/eARC function is turned on, select the input port 2/3/4 as the HDMI input source. then connect the “INPUT 1(eARC)” port to a Soundbar (eARC compatible), the HDMI audio from “INPUTS 2/3/4” port will be extracted and converted to eARC audio, then it will be played on the Soundbar. Since it compliant with audio formats such as LPCM, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio, this switch is a perfect solution for connecting SONOS ARC/BOSE 500/700/900 Soundbars and other eARC/ARC audio/video receivers.
This HDMI switch provides efficient, simple switching options for the user, via an included IR remote and push buttons on the main unit. The switch can also identify the active HDMI source device and automatically switch to this option, providing a useful solution for when the unit is required to be out of sight.
